TV5 management warmly welcomed Alice Dixson as the newest Kapatid star in the
contract signing held on January 13th.

Prized actress Alice Dixson signed a contract with TV5 yesterday. Pinoy Gossip Boy was the first to release the news that Alice Dixson will be returning to showbiz via TV5.

In a contract signing event held yesterday, timeless beauty Alice Dixson was welcomed by the TV5 management as the newest Kapatid Star. After the said contract signing event, Alice, together with Mr. Perci Intalan, Head of Creative and Entertainment Production, proceeded to her solo press conference in Makati City where entertainment writers, including yours truly, are waiting.

“Even before, we have been telling her that there’s a project waiting for her in TV5. We’re very happy that she’s now a Kapatid,” said Perci Intalan.

Upon sighting of the ever-alluring Ms. Dixson, I cannot help but notice that Alice seemed to have not aged a bit! During the pocket press conference, I asked Alice how she keeps up in shape. She said that she was raised by her father like a tomboy! And that is why she remains fit by being active. Everybody in the room burst into guffaws.

Babaeng Hampaslupa, likewise starring Ms. Susan Roces and drama newcomer Alex Gonzaga, will be Alice Dixson’s first project with the Kapatid Network. Babaeng Hampaslupa is also TV5′s first attempt for a dramatic soap opera.

Alice Dixson said that she has already taped a few scenes, I asked her how ere those scenes and she said that it must be one of the most challenging scenes she ever took, considering that it had been almost six years since the talented actress last had an acting gig.

Babaeng Hampaslupa tells the story of how a Filipina tries to fit into a Chinese family. Alice Dixson plays the role of a Filipina who marries into a traditional Chinese family who tries to get rid of Alice to the extent of sending her to the mental institute.

Personally, the plot is very interesting. Directed by Eric Quizon and Joyce Bernal, Babaeng Hampaslupa prides itself of a stellar group of writer including Dinno Erece among others.

PS: With her knowing that I was there in the press con, Alice Dixson said that before she came home to the Philippines, she read an article on her on pinoygossipboy.ph. After telling her I am Pinoy Gossip Boy, she gave me a high-five.
